Sallie Ann Glassman is an internationally known New Orleans artist, Voodoo Priestess and author of "Vooddoo Visions". Originally from a small town in Maine, she has been in New Orleans painting and practicing voodoo for over 25 years. I chose to portray Sallie Ann Glassman as Kali after I saw the two paintings she had finished of her. Kali's power lies in her fearlessness. She is the destroyer of ignorance, some say she is the Ultimate Reality.
