Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom, weaving, and crafts. Athena's wisdom could be said to combine the technical crafstmanship of metalsmithing with the superb logical sensibility of a commanding officer. She is a warrior goddess, and is therefore, a strong and cunning adversary. Although she is also an excellent diplomat and peacemaker, and is often called upon to settle disputes among mortals and gods alike.
Mary Brantley picked Athena as her diety and she is well suited for the role. Mary is reguared with an air of royalty in her social circles. Her matriarchal demeanor makes her well suited for holding court and giving counsil. Mary, a New Orleans resident up until Katrina, is also an internationally known puzzle solver of The Stone, an online mystery game.
